    Everything at this economical hotel was great as we expected. Many thanks to helpful staff for providing us with a good stay. The location was decent, with Texas Roadhouse nearby, where we could eat. Was a great base for christmas.

    helpful staff but disappointing conditions

    The staff here were genuinely trying to help create a positive experience despite the hotel's condition. One employee went out of their way to assist me when I had an issue with my room.

    The overall conditions of the hotel fell short of expectations.

    My experience was quite disappointing. I was provided with a room that had a broken air conditioning unit, leaving the room uncomfortably hot. The cleanliness was unacceptable, as I found stains on the linens and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. When I raised these issues, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to assist effectively, which only added to my frustration .

    Location.

    Booked with Booked.net for three days but Microtel only had a one day reservation. Asked to extend for the three days and was given the run around blaming bookings.com for the mix-up. Had to renew res each night. Brutal.Desk clerk completely disinterested in his work. Customer was placed in a smoking room and came to the desk to switch rooms. Was informed that it was her fault because she didn't verify her online registration and she was stuck with the smoking room. No customer service what so ever.

    Avoid it if you want a decent stay

    The staff at least tried to be helpful even though the whole place is a mess 😒. One of the receptionists went out of her way to help me find a room that didn't have the mold smell.
